PE polyethylene melting point is 100~130℃. Its low temperature resistance is excellent. It can still maintain good mechanical properties at -60℃, but the use temperature is 80~110℃. The melting point of general polyethylene is 140℃, and the decomposition temperature is 300℃. High-density polyethylene melting point range of 160-280 ℃, low-density polyethylene melting point is lower 140~260 ℃.
PVC has no fixed melting point. It starts to soften at about 80~85℃ The heat deformation temperature (under 1.82MPa load) is 70~71℃. 130℃ becomes viscoelastic. 160~180℃ starts to change to a viscous flow state and starts slowly release hydrogen chloride, which causes PVC to change color (from yellow to red, brown, or even black).
PP (polypropylene) melting point temperature of 164~170 ℃. Its thermal stability is good, with a decomposition temperature up to 300 ℃ or more. In contact with oxygen in the case of 260 ℃, it began to turn yellow deterioration, molding shrinkage is larger (1~1.5%), and has anisotropy, low temperature molding is easy to warp or twist due to molecular orientation. The density is 0.91, with good folding performance, waxy texture of resin particles, average water absorption is less than 0.02%, and the allowable moisture content of molding is 0.05%.
ABS molding temperature is generally above 160 ℃. About 250 ℃ began to yellow color, more than 270 ℃ began to decomposition. The resin is generally light ivory opaque particles, drying temperature of 80~85 ℃. A drying time of 2~4 hours.
PS, which is polystyrene, has a brittleness temperature -30 ℃ or so. The glass transition temperature of 80~105 ℃, melting temperature of 140~180 ℃, the decomposition temperature of 300 ℃ or more. As the mechanical properties of polystyrene with the rise in temperature decreased significantly, heat resistance is poor, so the continuous use of the temperature of about 60 ℃, the highest should not exceed 80 ℃. Low thermal conductivity, 0.04~0.15W / (m – K), almost independent of temperature and change, and thus has good thermal insulation.
PA6 (polyamide 6, nylon 6) commonly known as single six nylon melting point of 215~221 ℃, 310 ℃ began to decompose, a drying temperature of 90~100 ℃, a drying time of 5~6 hours.
PA66( polyamide 66, commonly known as nylon 66 ). The melting point of 260~265 ℃, 310 ℃ began to decompose, drying process and nylon 66 with. PA resin temperature is too high easily caused by material discoloration yellowing.
PET, also calls polyethylene terephthalate is generally 120~280℃. Melting temperature: 265~280℃, glass transition temperature is about 165℃, crystallization temperature range is 120~220℃.
