HUACHEN Screw offers optimized and heavy duty screw barrels for nonwoven materials. Their main use is producing spunbond nonwoven melts and meltblown nonwoven melts from raw materials like PP, PE, PET and other. We use high quality 38CrMoAlA for our screw barrels, which are subjected to a rigorous tempering and nitriding treatment and machining process. Upgraded bimetallic alloy treatment is also available to increase the service life of the screw barrels.

We provide a wide range of screw barrel designs and anti-wear solutions for nonwoven machines with varying formulations and product requirements. Screw designs for nonwovens are available in conventional screw design, as well as combinations of barrier screw, maddock screw, and screw mixing head design (pineapple). It is possible to supply smooth bore barrels or barrels with upgraded grooved feed bores. Plasticization and feeding are improved by the screw barrel’s forced feed system.
